NYC Car show and how 'bout those allergies!
Let me start off by saying, that Bill and I have never stayed away from the kids (as much as we can remember) by ourselves without the kids. Yeah, we left Austin with Pop Pop and his Aunt when we went to Florida for the week, but we never left all the kids at any given time overnight.
Bill wanted me to go with him to the NYC Car show at the Jacob Javits center so we can see what cars I would like for next year. So Friday we left and got to our hotel, and then I had a fill in show with 9 South that night. The next morning we went to NY and walked to the show. There are a lot of new cars coming out that are so nice!! I think what we've decided on for me (now I just have to test drive them) is The Mazda CX-9, Mercedes R350, Chevy Traverse, and the Buick Enclave. We are also going to consider the Lincoln Navigator (but I really would like to be able to park in the garage~which won't happen if I get that car, also the fact that you tap the gas pedal, and all the gas is gone, really does not sway with me too well! LOL! (did I mention that it just cost me $50.00 to fill my Town and Country's tank~Ouch!) But we had a lot of fun! We walked to Bobby Flay's place Mesa Grill, only to find out that there was not 1 thing on the menu I can eat. So we ended up going to Heartland brewery right next to time square. It was awesome!
My allergies are getting worse each year as we live here. Especially my food allergies. You all know that I have a severe pepper allergy. All pepper from black to spicy peppers. (Well, everything in Bobby Flay's place had all peppers, even the muffins.) in the past month, I have almost had to go to the hospital 4 times due to me eating something I was not aware of that had stuff I am allergic to in it. So off to the allergist I go! I need some sort of relief. Between my sinuses acting up every week, to me eating someting wrong all the time, it's really getting to be too much for me, and I am terriffied to use my EPI pen. (heck, it looks really scary!) LOL! I really need something to make it all better, so I am really anxious to go to this dr.
I quit my band, so now I am officially a domestic housewife! LOL! It's fine with me, since I am changing avenues and going to go into voice over/jingle work now. I love bands, but it is so mundane and I've been doing it for 8/9 years now. Also the fact that my kids are in sports now, and they seem to have everything on Saturday's which does not work for me. Yes, I am a little depressed, but I am still doing fill in shows when available, so I will not be completely off the market. Just limited! LOL! Oh well, you do what you gotta do! I had a great last NJ show with my favorite band, and I would not have wanted it any other way! Thanks to everyone who came out to support me~I truly love you all! XOXO!!

Austin's poor finger...
Yesterday was the day from hell, so to speak. I got done shaving the dogs down and I wanted to change my clothes so I could go out and buy the stuff I needed for making Mozzarella. Well, I had left Jordan, Rowan and Austin on the first floor, so I could run up real fast and get changed. I'm in the middle of getting changed, and I hear Austin start screaming! Then I hear Jordan yelling at Rowan calling him bad. So Jordan comes up to get me (I was making my way down the stairs anyway, I figured that Rowan just smacked Austin, no biggie) Well, I get down stairs, and there is Austin on all fours with his pinky finger IN THE HINGE PART OF THE DOOR. Ugh, then I noticed that the door was fully closed. Now you know there is no give on that part of the door, so I opened it and was praying that his finger tip was not cut off. Well, his poor finger looked like a deflated latex balloon. Completely flat and shaped like a bendy straw. (Now, I have a really strong stomach, but this I could not handle and started gagging...) So now I'm shaking like a leaf, I call Bill and tell him I HAVE to call 911 because I did not know what to do! (Normally, I just tell them to shake it off, and they will be fine.........this did not look remotely fine to me.) So he left work early. I call 911 and explain to them what happened, and how I was embarrassed to call them over this, but it looked like his pinky was shattered. They assured me that it was okay! LOL!So now I have 2 police at my house, and we were waiting for the ambulance. He had since calmed down but his finger was starting to swell really bad, and the gashes on both sides of his pinky just looked terrible! My friend Lori came over to watch the kids while I went to the hospital with Austin. My friend Sarah was awesome enough to pick up Brayden and let him have a playdate until we got Donovan later. (Thanks guys! XO)
Now the ambulance gets to us, and we go to the hospital. I have to say that they were so quick, I love St. Luke's hospital, I have always had such great things to say about them. Every experience we had was awesome! Anyway, we get into our room, and we only waited about 1/2 hour before we got into xrays (which he did not have a fun time in! LOL!) Finally Bill met us at the hospital while we were waiting for the results. NOTHING BROKEN!! It's amazing! What's even more amazing is that apparently the bone from the knuckle (mid knuckle) to the tip, there is not a bone on a child that age, it's all soft tissue. so the reason it was so flat was because it was all soft tissue! Amazing! I was soo relieved!! But I've had a constant headache from the beginning of this mess! LOL! Thankfully everything is fine. He is nursing the finger and not using it. Today his finger is like a tye dyed easter egg, all sorts of shades of colors. (my tummy turns everytime I look at it! LOL) But he's in good spirits, and I want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts on facebook for him! I really appreciate it! XOXO!!

I hate the snow, and I hate Dish Network
Well, since we are stuck in the house because of all this snow, I figured I would take a few minutes and blog for a bit, considering I have not done it in a while!
So wow! 10-15 inches of snow in 1 day! Amazing! I have not seen this much snow since we have moved here~so much for global warming huh? (well, they do say it's a myth.) So do you guys know what happens when we get this much snow?! OUR DISH NETWORK GOES OUT! That's right my friends, we are stuck now 2 days with no TV! But you know, it's not just the snow. It's the rain, a good wind~anything out of the ordinary shuts down my lifeline to sanity. Thank God that video games don't need any cable~otherwise I'd have to put these kids up for adoption!
Anyway, so I called Dish Network today to complain about how I never get reception when there is bad weather. All they could say was that my dish was placed in a bad location on my house and so the satellite must not be hitting it the right way~so pretty much they told me that I have to deal with it. I told them that I am not paying for service that I don't get. I have been without TV for 2 days now, and I told her that I am not happy. They told me that they would have to send out a Technician to see what the problem is, and that it would COST me 100 bucks! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! So now I have to pay for TV that I don't get to watch, and yet now I will have to PAY for this stupid man to come out and fix what should have been placed properly on my house to begin with?!? This is a BAD joke. Well, I ended up telling her that I should not have to pay for this person to come out considering my Dish never works in anything but sunlight and moonlight, and I will be canceling my service as soon as I get RCN back into my house. They did nothing to try to keep me as a customer~which was fine, we hated them from day 1 to begin with.
So the bad, gets worse!
So I get on the phone with RCN and explain to them my problem. Well, we find out we need 6 boxes for all the tv's in the house. (2 dvr hd, 4 regular onesn andSo after I am done figuring out what I need and such, SHE TELLS ME THEY HAVE NO HD DVR BOXES/regular boxes! Also, they apparently have NO IDEA when they are even getting them in!!! WTF?!? IT'S A CABLE COMPANY~they should have gazillions of these things!!! So needless to say, I am without tv (still) and I will have no access to regular cable tv until they get their shipment. What is this? The freakin twilight zone?!
It really stinks being limited on what cable providers you can have.

Am I the only one?!
Who really is not in the Christmas Spirit? I am just not feeling it this year~and the whole 6 inches of snow we got last night did not help much. (I'm happy to be up here and NOT the shore for once.) I feel like this year just flew by, and it's not really Christmas time. LOL!
Either way, we are ready, the shopping is done, thank God! I have to honestly say I don't think we've ever been this finished before by this time. Ususally Christmas Eve we are running around last minute shopping, but I have to honestly say this year, we went out for Black Friday, and we were pretty much DONE Black Friday. LOL! Such a great feeling!
Now, Bill is off this week, and then next week the kids are off. Hoorah! LOL! I have finally recovered from my 3 straight weeks of singing. I don't think I've had that many shows in forever! LOL! but now we are off for 2 weeks, and it's nice to lounge around and do nothing.
Bill bought us a new surround sound system for the Family Room, and I have to say it's really nice. We can get youtube, Blockbuster, Pandora internet radio, and Netfilx movies streamed to it. It is so awesome! I can't wait to start watching some movies on it! I got a new computer, Actually a DESKTOP! I have not had one of those in such a long time, but in order for me to keep my nice house to continue looking nice, I need a computer I can not lug around everywhere! LOL! It stays in the office, and that's where everything gets done now. I cleaned out all my junk drawers, and moved all that crap to the office, and designated places as well, and it's so nice. I love coming into my house and not seeing toys everywhere! Having my basement finished is the greatist thing EVER!! Who would have thought that my house would be a completely different house after the basement gets done!? Now Carrie does not trip on toys to put the clothes away, I don't have to worry about who is not sleeping because they are playing with toys......ugh, it's so nice!
I started making cards and invitations again, so if you need anything, just let me know! Digital Photo Cards are the complete way to go!

What's wrong with your phone today?!?
So everyone knows I got the new Iphone 3GS......which I absolutely LOVE BTW!! However, the only reason that I got it was because I was singing in Northeast P.A. where I was not getting a Cell reception. Well, now that I am not singing up there anymore, there really is no reason for me to continue with the AT&T service. Might I add that my cell phone plan was $173.64 every month.
Also, you guys might remember that I recently Jailbroke my Iphone because of the fact that I love the cute themes (I love to be different), and I don't like being exactly held to what anyone wants me to do. So I was in the jailbreaking section of my Iphone program, and I noticed something that said "Sn0w". Then it said, "To unlock your phone to use other carriers..." OMG REALLY?!? Can it be THIS easy?!?! So I click on it, and all of a sudden it says that my iphone is unlocked!! Get outta here!!! So I grab Carrie's sim card for her cell phone, to see if it worked. And S.O.B. if it did not work!! So I then I found my old Sim Card for T-Mobile~for when I had the G1, and popped it in there and Holy Cow!! IT WORKED!!
So let me explain.....We had my old line still active because they were going to charge us $200 to cancel the line. So we but it to basic, and we were just paying $10 a month on it. So what I did was, Ported my phone number from AT&T to T-Mobile, so I can keep my AT&T number (which I love~yet again) and had them add the data plan $35.00 a month with unlimited texting and picture messaging.. They were happy to keep my business, and they said that they supported the Iphones. So how great is this??
I am still waiting for my number to port over, so for those who are calling me today, It is going to say my number is not in service. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be back and running. I am currently using my old T-Mobile number, but not giving it out because it will soon be history. I am so happy that I could jump up and down like an idiot!
A funny story....
So I got the mail today and we have a realtor at the shore, that we'll probably never use, but he sends up little newsletters with little facts, and the house of the month.
Anyway....
So there is this article that he put in there called "What's in your pocketbook??"
and it reads....
Researchers recently tested 50 purses for harmful bacteria and discovered that one in four handbags were contaminated with E. Coli, the bacteria found in human and animal waste. Many more were carrying other bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aurous and salmonella.
Researchers advise using a disinfectant wipe daily on your purse and, when in public spaces such as restrooms, suggest hanging your bag rather than placing it on the floor. It's also a good idea to avoid putting your purse on countertops or anywhere food is prepared....
Now I have to laugh.....If any of my children go near my $800 Louis Vuitton, or my $1200.00 Louis Vuitton, I have a caranary, so why on earth would I use a disinfectant wipe that could potentially ruin the leather~and destroy my investments?! LOL! If I owned a Walmart purse or something like that, then I would absolutely do it in a heartbeat~but....I don't think so! I do however like the whole "do not put the purse on the floor" idea...I have purse hooks so I don't have to do that, but with 5 kids nothing is guaranteed. Hell, I use my 1 Louis as my diaper bag for crying out loud! LOL!
Oh well, just thought any other Designer Purse Lover would appreciate what I read today!

So unfortunate for who?!
So I went to Old Country Buffett the other day with the kids, (minus Donovan) and I had to take them to the bathroom. So I was waiting for Brayden to get out. So this old woman comes out of her stall, and says "Oh you have 3 boys?" I said, no I actually have 5. She said, "5 boys, you are so unfortunate!"
OMG, how can I be so unfortunate? I know Seniors are seniors, and most of the time can't shut a mouth up for the life of them, but come on~was that really necessary?!? I said to her, unfortunate for what?! That my boys are healthy? I don't think I'm unfortunate! And that is pretty much how it was left. People amaze me on how inconsiderate they can be. Then she proceeds to tell me that she had 3 boys, so my only assumption is that she doe not get along with her boys?! What do you think? I hope to have an awesome relationship with my kids when they grow up. They are already sweet boys, and I am so excited to see how awesome they will be in the future.
So our rugs for the basement and family room are coming The 7th! I'm so excited to finally see this basement finished. I really need to get all these toys out of here, and down there before I have to kill someone. LOL! The family room and kitchen are re painted and look very nice, and now I just need the finishing touches!
Austin is now starting to get on all 4's and rock back and fourth. So he's getting ready to crawl soon, It's so sad for me to see my last baby growing up! He got his bottom 2 teeth in at the same time~so explains for all the drooling, poor kid! He still won't sit up on his own, but I'm not worried, he will eventually. He's rolling around like crazy and getting into things just as well.

Okay, so I lied
I said that I was going to move my blog to my other site, but I just really like this one so much~that I've decided to keep it here!
Anyway with that said, I am needing a lot of catching up to do!
So may I ask any of you if you think it's right that the school is not obligated to tell us if there is swine flu in the system? Apparently we have 4 cases in our school, and not 1 letter came home saying so. Apparently again, someone called the school on this, and they said that they are not obligated to say anything about it. I think that is complete bullcrap! Since this is suppose to be so dangerous, then they SHOULD be obligated to let us know. I don't know what to think on this. But I do think that policy needs to be changed~and quickly!
My house is coming along slowly, my TV is up, the living room and kitchen is painted, and the basement.............well, it's coming along~almost completed there is another week and 1/2 or so, then it should be done. All that is left is the rug, and the molding. Then we are ready to go.
So, I only had my computer 1 month, and the kids already broke the drive. I could not play anything for the life of me....they decided to put a shop rite shoppers club card in the disk drive. Needless to say, 1 trip to Apple store, and 1 disk drive replacement later, and we are all good to go! Funny how no one recalls putting it in there......hmmm.....
The kids are doing well in school. They are having fun going on playdates, and hanging out. I am trying my best to keep any flu, or anything bacterial out of my house. I lysol every night, and I don't allow them to kiss anyone on the lips. Not even us. I was so terrified of the swine flu, until I got the real scoop on it, saying that it's not so deadly as they make it. It's just another flu, and because the pharm. companies need the money ($35.00) per vaccanation, of course they are going to hype it up. From what I'm hearing, you'd rather have the swine, then the regular flu. So Bring it on! (just stay away from the baby!)
Austin is doing great. He's so cute! Rolling everywhere to get what he wants. It's so funny! He is eating stage 2 foods now. He's a piggy!
I can't believe that Halloween is almost here~where did October go? Next thing we know, it's going to be Christmas! Grrr... It's amazing how when you're a kid, time takes forever, but when you're an adult, it just comes a goes so fast!
I joined MoRock. www.morockband.com I left my PA band due to circumstances beyond my control, so I am back to rocking the NJ crowd, just like I use to! I am very excited to be with these guys, and I think it's going to be good.
That's it for now. But I'll be back!

Disney...then a disaster...
So our trip to Disney was so much fun! Considering that we had a hurricane on the coast, and a depleted tropical storm that came through also, the weather was hot, humid, and rainy. Typical weather from assumption though. I guess on the "rains 3 times a day" Floridians live by!
Our house was amazing, and it was so great to stay in a place where we did not have to share a pool, or any private time we wanted to have. The resort was beautiful, right on a golf course, and for all we got the price was certainly right! We will rent another house for our next trip, for a family of our size, it's really the right thing to do.
So we arrived in Florida about 11:30 am. The house was not ready, so we met up with Carrie, went to eat, drop off her rental car~and went food shopping. By the time we were done doing all of this, the house was ready for us. The kids were so impressed, all they kept saying was "OMG, this house must cost a fortune!!" LOL! They wanted to swim everyday, and the pool water was so warm and great~I was a happy camper! (I hate water less than 80 deg.) after we unpacked everything, we all literally jumped in the pool with all of our clothes on, it was so much fun!
Donovan learned how to swim that week, Brayden loved swimming with his swimmies on, and Rowan LOVED the pool!! Jordan was being cranky, so he hated everything that week...he just wanted to "go back to his Blue house!"
First we went to Magic Kingdom, and it was really nice, it rained a bit, but it did not last too much. Carrie pretty much taught us that when it rained there, we just do the shows, or the indoor rides. I was happy about the fact that all the lines were in buildings for the most part. So that really cut back on heat stroke and major sunburn!
Second, we went to Epcot. All the lines were really long for Soaring and test track, so we decided to do the countries, and come back to Epcot another day. All the fast passes were distributed for the day, so we figured that we would get lucky on another day....which we did.
Third, we went to Hollywood studios. That was a lot of fun! Brayden got to be in the Star Wars Jedi training show, he was so excited! Rowan got to meet his hero, Handy Manny! He was so cute, trying to claw his was out of my arms to get to him...I did not realize that he loved him so much! They got their faces painted (and I joined them). We went on the Tower of Terror ride, and OMG, I don't think I'll go back on it ever again!! LOL! It was soo scary!
Fourth, we went to Animal Kindgom. We were there for only an hour and 1/2 because I ended up with heat exhaustion, and Rowan had 102.2 fever and threw up all over Bill right before we went on the train ride from the petting zoo (which was lame) back to the main park. So we left right after that, and went back to the house. We swam, and got Rowan some Tylenol, and made him relax for the day.
The next day he was starting to feel better, so we went back to epcot, rode what we missed, then went back to Magic Kingdom to go back on the teacups, and go shopping. Bill and I even got a chance to get out on our own, and we went to Joe's Crab Shack and Downtown Disney to do some shopping. It was nice for just the 2 of us to get out and do something (which with 5 kids we hardly get to ever do.)
The ride down was really nice, all the kids slept, and we made pretty good time. The ride back home was another story! Brayden ended up catching whatever Rowan had, and when we stopped in Virginia to get a hotel and sleep, we noticed that Brayden had a fever. Soooo, now I know why we rented a house instead of a hotel room, it was chaos! Rowan was screaming and crying, Jordan was cranky and crying, Donovan passed back out, and so did Brayden. The kids need seperate rooms, or, rooms with not so many people! LOL!
The next morning, we get back into the car, and I gave Brayden a plastic bag in case if he had to throw up. Well, we just almost got into Delaware, and guess who throws up all over my car WITHOUT using the provided plastic bag!?!? All I heard was, BLECHHH,,,,BLECH......I said "OMG WTF WAS THAT?!" And Bill looks in the back and said, Oh no! Brayden just threw up everywhere! So now we pull over to the next exit, and I'm now cleaning puke! (Great way to end a trip huh?!) Well, now we had to call my dad and ask if he could bring Austin to our house instead of us picking him up, because now we had nowhere to put him! (we were only 120 miles from home.) As soon as we got home, I kicked out all the kids, and had to totally sanitize my car! GROSS!!! It sucks how puke finds all the tiny nooks and crannies that are hardes to get to! LOL! Thankfully, I got it all out, and the car smells fresh and clean.
Rowan was so good during this trip, it was amazing! We were really expecting to have a hard time with him, but he is known as the Observing child. He'll just sit and watch, and he's happy with it. as soon as I opened up the stroller, he walked right to it, and sat down and put on the seatbelt. It was so cute!
I can't wait until we travel again...but Disney will have to wait for a while. The kids liked it, but they noticed the "lack" of thrill rides for them, and were getting bored on the little slow rides (small world, peter pan, etc..) So next time (in about 3 years) we are going to do Disney Quest, Sea World, and Bush Gardens. We think that will be more fun. But until then, I think we are going to do little trips to Virginia, and North Carolina to the beaches...somewhere to just get away for a weekend, and relax. Bill and I don't know how to plan "relaxing" trips, we seem to be moving all the time! LOL!
Oh yeah, WTF with South of the Border!?! We went there because I figured it would be fun for the kids...and it was a ghost town! Practically everything is boarded up and closed down. It was really sad, I remember going there all the time as a kid, and it being so lively. I was kind of upset at how pathetic it was. I'd love to know what happened, and why it's so trashed.
Oh well! That's the practically Readers Digest version! LOL! Hoped you enjoyed reading!
LOL!

GO TO BED!!!
My God! Any other night these kids are pretty good with going to bed. They all go down at 8 p.m. even the baby. Sometimes we get those nights where 1 child will forget to "tell" us something, and they come in our room like 4 times before we have to get nasty with them.
But tonight is a worse night, these children will not go to sleep for the life of them. They are constantly playing and laughing and hitting each other. I've told them at least 10 times now to go to bed or they will be seperated. (The whole summer they have had sleepovers in each others rooms.) So now guess what?!? They are being seperated for tonight.
Today was one of those days. I bought a new mop because my floors need cleaning major. They broke it. I took them to the mall so I could do a few things, they did not listen. It's such an aggervating day today, and I JUST WANT THEM TO GO THE FRIG TO BED ALREADY!!! GRRR...
You would think that they would behave like this on a full moon, which It's not. Maybe they are just getting excited for Disney which is now only 3 days away, either way, I can not deal, and they need to go to bed. I look forward to my evenings with the Hunk, and it aggervates me today, that I have to deal with this worse case of silliness.
Someone please give me a beer!

Pensyltucky and Pig Roasts
So this weekend really showed me a whole new world of which I am not use to....
I played at a private party this weekend at this person's house. He had a very strong accent that almost sounded like a cross between German, and English. Really cool to listen to. LOL, so because I love people from other countries, because I love to learn about them, I asked him where he was from. He said "Here, I've lived here all my life". I was amazed. He said he was Pennsylvania Dutch, and that was where the accent was from. I felt so stupid. Here I am, only 40 minutes northeast of where I am living, and it's like a whole other world. I did not even know that such an accent existed!
There were 2 houses set on 60+ acres, and it had the most beautiful view of the mountains, it was unreal. The food was amazing, all handmade goodies, from pickled eggs marinated in beets, to zuchinni bread (which I thought was banana bread~so that is a great trick to feed kids that don't like veggies), There were also a dozen delicious desserts~rhubarb pie, some smores thing that was awesome. Needless to say, I was sick to my tummy~because it's all stuff that I don't normally include in my diet. LOL!
But the most gnarly thing caught my eye! I did not know it was a pig roast (which I've never been to before in my life!) So the guy opens up the grill/smoker thing~and there was A WHOLE PIG in it! OMG, let me tell you, I could not stop staring at this thing.....I think it's mainly because I've never actually seen my food still have a head! LOL! now this does not bother me in any way. I mean, it's survival of the fittest right?!?
Here I was, taking pictures and video of them cutting it, I just could not believe what I was seeing right in front of me! I will show pictures when I upload them (I don't have them now, they are on my phone.)
So the funniest part of this story is at the end of the party, the man hacked off the head, and let me bring it home to the boys! LOL! Yes I am serious! I explained that we've never seen anything like this before, and I thought they'd really enjoy seeing where their food comes from. So he cut off the head, and put it in a box, and told me to eat the cheek meat because it was the best meat on the whole pig. So I bring home my prize, and when I walk through the door with it, The Hunk's face was priceless~He was like "WTF is that?!?!" LOL! Then the kids came over, and they could not stop touching it, and looking at the teeth (yes, the teeth were still in tact.) So after they were done poking and prodding for a bit, we threw him away! I figured it would scare them, but on the contrary they wanted me to have the head mounted so we can put it on the wall! LOL!! Those kids are too funny!

Don't tell me no lies, and keep your hands to yourself!!
Today we went to Dorney Park again, because we did not go last Thursday. We had a great day swimming, playing, riding rides. Until we decided to let the boys play in this one play area next to the snoopy stage. It's like a big playhouse that is empty off of camp snoopy.
Either way. I was feeding Austin and watching the boys with the Hunk, then all of a sudden Brayden comes running out screaming that a boy smacked him hard in the face (No, he did not deserve it~for those who like to think such things of my children...like when Donovan got punched in the nose...you know who you are....) the kid left a hand print on his face....So then I look in the window (which are huge), and I can see Jordan backing away from a boy who tried to hit him, and then saw he went behind Donovan, and Donovan tried so hard to hit the boy back in defense of his brothers. (sad thing is he missed these kids by 6 miles, and had a girlie limp wrist! LOL, he's so cute!)
Anyway, so then I tell the Hunk to run and go see what's going on. He goes and I'm not too far behind him. Then I see an Indian mom and dad come into the area also...(just my luck~here we go again!) Well, we pull the kids out of the house, and I automatically yell "Brayden, why did he hit you?" (right in front of the parents~so they can hear an explination), and he's crying saying "I don't know!!" So I look at the father, and say "we'll he needs to apologize to my son." Then Donovan said that the kid hit Brayden and then he tried to hit Jordan and himself, but they did not do anything to deserve it...the child who hit him also could not give an explination...so then the father puts his hands out in a calm down motion and says "Okay well, we all need to apologize to each other." (That was all he had to say!) Now I am super Pi$$ed! I looked at that Jerk and yelled at him "MY CHILDREN ARE NOT APOLOGIZING TO YOUR KIDS!! THEY DID NOTHING WRONG!!" I said, I do not raise my kids to hit other kids, because they know it's not right, and the'll get in trouble! I said, I already delt with a situation like this before where my kid got punched in the face for not doing anything, and my kids are not apologizing~sorry!" And I made the kids leave. Yes, I even threw an F-Bomb at him, but don't remember the context, I think I said he was Fu&%ing crazy/stupid/ if he thought my kids were apologizing. I was so mad, as we were walking away I yelled at him that I don't raise my kids to apologize to scumbag kids who like to hit people.
That's right ladies! I cursed my little heart out! The father even looked at the Hunk like "O-M-G" LOL! It was priceless, and the mother looked scared! LOL!! And the Hunk was like~"Uh Ho, here she goes!"
I'm sorry, but I do not approve of children being so loose with their fists and hitting each other over the stupidist crap, or crap at all! Yes, I am an advocate of not hitting back so the other child will be 100% in the fault when it comes to dicipline. I do not like fighting, it's not worth it. I have raised my children to not hit back just because of this reason, they will not hit back, but in turn tell on the child~so they are doing EXACTLY what I taught them. That's why when Donovan got punched 2 times in the nose, he did not hit back, instead, he told me what happened, because he knew if he hit those kids back, he would have been in a lot of trouble. They did the right thing.
But you know what?!? I am getting a little sick and tired of kids picking on my kids, and I've decided to start letting them take karate starting the fall, even though it's against my better judgement of hitting back. However, if they start getting picked on now, who is to say it's not gonna get worse, as they will be considered "easy targets" because they know they will not hit back. Well, things are gonna change as of tomorrow. I am approving of this hitting thing~but only in self defense. I still do not approve of throwing the first punch, and if it happens they are in MAJOR trouble, But if they are defending themselves, I am not going to dicipline them for hitting back, I am only going to hope to God that they made it worth it! If they get in trouble, like at school, Oh well~consider it a vacation day~I'll take them to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate!
Just so you know, I do not think my kids are perfect...I'm sure they annoy people and kids, just like others kids do the same, but I do not think that it's appropriate to hit, because a child thinks another child is annoying. (and for you parents who thought Donovan "Probably Deserved" to get punched 2 times in the face~you know who you are, and so do I) Just for the record, because I don't know if I blogged about the reason he did get punched........but the reason he got punched in the face was because the kids were trying to take off his Croc's and he did not want them to, so they got annoyed that he would not let them take his shoes off~so because they were annoyed, they punched him in the face. So now you stupid, inconsiderate Pieces of Chit, do you think he deserved it now?!?!?! Real good reason to punch someone in the face, especially a child~huh?!? Such mature thoughts for such tiny stupid brains!
Where was I....Oh......Sorry, back to my blog...I hate when I have an afterthought....
It's funny now as the kids get older, and you have to change your parenting style to fit what situation the kids will come across....I never thought that I would have to make this decision, and again, I'm not happy about it, but what am I gonna do?! Let my kids be punching bags for disturbed, angry individuals? I think not......I'd much rather them kick some ass!

Butt Kickin' Booties and the lack of good Chinese Buffets.
Today was a day from hell....let me tell you! It was not really one of those "Good" Days.
I understand the Coral knuckleheads are young....and kids will be kids, but today was one of those days where I wanted to rip my hair out.....or just run away.
We went shopping with Carrie so we can grab the last of the stuff we need for our Crazy Disney vacation. Before we went in the first store I said to the "Okay guys, let's show Carrie how good we behave in the stores!" (famous last words...)
Well, let's just say that everything they know they are NOT suppose to do in the stores.....they did! From running around and horse playing, to hiding in the racks and touching everything that man created. Between Rowan screaming the whole time in the Christmas Tree Shop because he was woken from his nap, to Rowan screaming in Marshall's because he was still not happy and getting his way, and Brayden whining and fighting with his brothers, to Donovan initiating everything, I wanted to hang them all by their toenails and give them Chinese water tourture until one of them understood that I have had enough.
Now explain to me this.....why on earth is Pennsylvania the only place that has the worst chinese buffets in the world?!? Now everyone who knows me (Gen) knows that when I come to NJ I HAVE to go to the Chinese Buffet, because I can not for the life of me get a decent fix here. The food is so terrible, dry and greasy. So much so, that I get belly aches, and I feel so sick afterward. So we went to one in Whitehall, and the food was so terrible (which I expected). It was cold, and they did not replenish anything. The crab legs were tiny and not good, and the butter that I had gotten to dip them in I saw had a gnat floating in it....let's just say that I immediately lost my appetite. So then I wanted an ice cream. I go to the self serve station and went to grab the ice cream scoop, when I saw that they had it stored in a glass, for God knows how long, with stagnet water and residue from all the other people that have used it that day, I totally lost whatever appetite I had left. No way on earth was I going to use it, it was so gross. So I ended up using a regular spoon to scoop out 5 cups worth of ice cream for the kids. I will never go to that place again. Just terrible.
So then we came home....Bill put the kids to bed, and I was soo irritated, that I went out and washed my car.....yes I did....1:00 in the morning. It was really relaxing believe it or not. I did not have to listen to ANY kids, and the only thing I heard was running water......
Calgon....Take me away.......

Should I feel soo bad and guilty?!?
I've made the executive decision to leave our youngest Coral, to stay with his Godmother and Pop-Pop, instead of bringing him with us on our Florida vacation....should I be feeling as guilty as I do? I know he has no idea what's going on, so it's not like he's going to miss it, but I feel bad because he is not going to be participating in the things we are doing.
I mean, it's going to be so much easier leaving him with Gen and pop-pop, especially when it comes time to ride the rides, I'll be thanking myself for my decision, but it's the rest of the family time that we will be spending together, that he will not be there.......I feel so bad...
Ho Hum....
The hunk says that I should not feel bad because we will go again in a few years when he's older, so he can have the experience also....but I dunno....I still feel bad...he's soo little! LOL! I guess I'll just miss his little smile for the time we are gone~I know he is going to be in good hands, but it's just the fact that I've never left any of my kids somewhere for that amount of time.....
Well, my parents took Donovan and Brayden for a week once, but they were only 2 hours away from home, not over 1,000 miles away...and they were older. I guess it's good he's the age he is, so then I know he's not gonna be very mobile. LOL, he barely rolls over at this point, he's just starting to, but it's not like he's crawling yet. So he's really easy to take care of! LOL!
I can't believe we are leaving so soon, this trip is coming up closer and closer, time is just flying by! Then like 2 days after we get home, the kids start their first day of school! I am so excited for Brayden to start Kindergarden. He wants to ride that school bus so bad it's painful for him! LOL!!!! But having 2 out of the 5 kids in school is going to be awesome!
I don't think that I mentioned Jordan misses the cut off for Kindergarden next year, so he will be another year at home. So I am keeping him home this year, then next he'll be in preschool, then the next he'll be in Kindergarden. Rowan will be in the same situation. Because they are Sept, and October babies, so they miss it. Grr.....Oh well. It's gonna be strange when they are all in school full time....then what do I do?!? Free time?!? What's that?!? LOL!!!
Heck, when Austin is potty trained, I am not going to know what to do with myself. So far, I have been changing diapers for 7 straight years. LOL! I don't know WHAT it's like to not wipe a booty! The day they all go on the pot is going to be the strangest day for me....LOL!!!
I know, I know
It's been a week since I updated again...or something like that! LOL! I've been so busy, ugh....when school starts I'll have more time!
So I finished the Chiminea, and it's GEORGOUS!!! (if I do say so myself!) Looks brandy new, and the boys had such a great time with it! Here is the finished product!
So........I waxed my armpits....or I should say Armpit...(after this experience, I was too traumatized to do the other one!) the day before GWO (girls weekend out). And I guess I did not pull the skin taught enough, and OMG hurt like a mother!! LOL! I had a pretty red and raw area in my armpit because of this, and lemme tell you~I'm gonna designate a friend to hold my skin tighter............so beware!!!!! LOL!!!! I'm soo into waxing, and since I have a somewhat mild case of OCD, I'm suprised that I and my family are not all completely hairless! LOL!! My new answer to everything is....."that's okay, we can just wax it off!" LOL! I'm trying to convince the Hunk to let me do his chest....so far I think it's a no go~Grrr....
So we are on 26 days until Disney, we just ordered our tickets and should be getting them soon! I am soo excited for the kids! And I can't wait until we see this house in person that we are going to be staying in! Ugh, it's gonna be soo nice!!
I have not yet decided on what I am doing with the shoutters, however, I can tell you this much....them little S.O.B's now moved their nest to my dining room shutters! OMG DOES IT EVER FREAKING STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate birds, I think I now hate birds more than I hate freaking Liver......or a good stomache pumping...AND GUESS WHAT!?!?! They grew MORE babies on my back deck!!!!!!!!!! AAAHHHH! Okay, so here are the new babies (second batch this summer) LOL!
This past weekend, I went to GWO (girls weekend out) and got smashed, and that's all you guys need to know, but here is a great picture for you all to laugh at!
I was stupid drunk, LMAO! But a great picture of me for all of you guys to laugh at, for the end of this blog!XOXO, Thanks for reading!!

It did not rain....
So I decided that I was going to prime the Chiminea! I am so happy that I got to do it! Here is what it looks like primed!
Now I can't wait to paint it....the whole thing is that it is spray paint...which I am not a big fan of, and I am considering buying the pain instead. I worry about the overspray, and I don't want to fume up the ozone anymore than it already is...Ugh, I can't make up my mind. I think I am a better painter than spray painter! LOL! So this is in the primed state right now, until I decide what I am going to do with it.
As you can tell, I changed the header...yes the picture is not that great, but I am in love with it anyway~everytime I see a family picture like this of us, I am just in amazement that all these kids belong to me, and that I am so blessed and lucky! So that's why I posted it up~until a clearer one comes along.
I took down my shutters yesterday, because just like the Coral family, we have birds that like to breed on our house. Yes, ON our house. They have built 3 nests behind my shutters on the stone...and on top of the nests, they are pooping EVERYWHERE!! My porch, walkway, trees and all on the shutters, shingles, and stone! It is so gross! So I took down the shutters that border Austins room, and I am going to take down the other set that border the dining room until I can figure out what the heck I am going to do with all this crap! Literally!
I am thinking about buying up the 4.99 birdhouses at the christmas tree shop, and attaching them to the posts on the fence. Just to get them out of my deck and shutters. I really am tired of birds! So this is what my house looks like after I removed the 2nd floor shutters, (and I believe you can see the one nest that did not fall off yet.

Do you guys think it looks bad without the shutters?!? I'm gonna take the lower set off also, so there will be no shutters on the stone at all.....gimme your thoughts!

Boys will be boys.....
I guess it's going to be one of those posts! LOL!
Donovan....er...I mean......Logan, was raiding his bike yesterday, and ran right into the curb....I saw it with my own eyes and it looked like it HURT like a mother! Well, it must have because now for this second day the poor kid is still having trouble walking! LOL! Ugh, and as a parent, I look at it, and it makes my skin crawl! Gross! I feel so bad for him! LOL! Here you go! The damage!
Looks pretty bad huh!? I think this is honestly the only time he's had such a boo boo! Usually he's wearing knee pads or something, but not this time! LOL!! Oh well! It's gonna heal.
So I am starting a new project! Anyone who is friends with me on facebook and reads this blog will know who this did belong to! LOL! You can admit it's yours if you want to, otherwise, I'll just stay mum....

Anyway, so I did, YES I ACTUALLY TRASH PICKED SOMETHING!!! LOL!! But I saw it as I was coming home, and I have been DYING for one of these, but have a hard time paying over 100 bucks for something that I know would rust this badly......so, I asked my friend what was wrong with it and he said nothing~just that it was really really rusty. I asked him if I could have it and so he put it aside for me. I got it home and so far all I've done with it is wire sanded it, and got all the loose rust off of it. And it ALREADY looks really good! I bought the Rust-oleum primer that I have to do next, and then I bought the Rust-oleum high heat spraypaint in Black. It's going to look sweet, and it only cost me like 20 bucks for the stuff I needed! So I can't wait to see what it's gonna look like when it's painted! I am happy that I have another project to deal with! Whoo Hoo!
Before the Wire sanding.....

After the wire brushing....

So I was going to do the primer today, but it looks like it's going to rain.....maybe I'll do it when Rowan goes for a nap. I really want to get this done. But for now, it's good. I want to buy a cover for it, so that it does not get any more rusty. Okay, wish me luck!

Kids and Kuteness
Yes, I know I spelled cuteness wrong...LOL!
This morning, I woke up to the greatist wake up that any mom could! Rowan came out of his room and I woke up to him in my bed, under my covers on my pillow, kissing me and saying "I love you free" (three~for those who don't understand kid~lingo). I was like AWWWWW, how sweet~and he just kept kissing me! I felt so LOVED this morning!!! Which is nice, because how many times do they actually do that in the morning?!? I'm not sure, but I will be enjoying every minute of it until they don't want to do it anymore.
Jordan also, he's been so sensative the past few weeks, hugging me all the time and kissing me all the time....he's just such a love munch! I remember before when he would not kiss or hug you worth anything. You had to force him....now it's all he wants to do. God, I love that also!!
Can you believe that the kids slept until 9:15 this morning?? How awesome is that?!?! I had to make sure they were still breathing, because it's unusual for them to do that! LOL! So that obviously ment I did not get out of my bed until 8:45 because I had a love bug in my bed! LOL!
Austin now weighs 14 pounds! He's such a little piggy! He is now eating cereal, and can roll from from his belly to his back, and now he is starting to play with his toys to entertain himself.....Gosh, it's such a great feeling that he's progressing.....but it's so sad, knowing that he is the last of the Coral's. They grow up so fast, and it's so depressing. LOL!! I can't wait however, until they are all out of diapers....I don't know what it's like to never have to change diapers. I've been constantly changing them for 7 years. LOL!! And it will be strange to not have baby stuff in the house, like cribs, and pack and plays, ugh...it's the life that I've known for such a long time....and the change, I know will be for the better, but I don't know what it's like.....since I've constantly had a baby in the house. Wow, it's going to be so strange........

My name is Logan
LOL, I think it's so funny~this morning Donovan (the oldest) told me that he changed his name to Logan, and wants to be called that from now on. So I am playing the game.....LOL! I just called out "hey Logan" and he looked up and said "What". So I guess that is what he wants. LOL! Like I said to my Facebook friends, at least he did not want me to call him Giovanna, or some female name...but even if he did~I'd be fine with it! LOL!
That's okay, I changed my name to the Queen and they all have to call me that from now on, so I guess it's only fair! LOL!
So the boys want to go camping, so yesterday I put up our little tent, and we are going to sleep in it this weekend.....I can't wait to see how long they last out there! LOL! This should be pretty comical! LOL! I am debating on letting them sleep out there by themselves and just sleeping on the couch downstairs, or sleeping out there with them....eh, will see how I am feeling at that time! LOL!

So there are only 39 Days left until we go to Disney!!! Man, I can't believe how the time just flies by so fast!!! Carrie and I have been buying up the Dollar Store's stuff for the trip. LOL! I've bought the little personal fans for them, squirt bottles to spray the kids with, you know all the things we will need because of the long drive.................you know I am a little Jealous that Carrie is flying and getting there in 2 hours. LOL! I would have loved to take all the kids on a plane and be there in no time vs. driving there and taking 15 hours and listening to kids complaining. LOL! Oh well, maybe next time! We are loading them up on video games, movies, and snacks just to shut them up! LOL!
