Blah, blah, blah....

Well, the past few days have been extremely busy here in the big blue house...We got a trampoline, I rearranged Brayden and Jordans' room, ugh...and with my daily children chaos...well, you know how it is....

The trampoline is a hit...we've already had a scratched arm, a lost tooth, (yes, I am serious), fighting, and kids smacking each other...so personally I think it's a GREAT investment. I just love hearing whining all day, and crying because someone got hurt....and think....it's not even the summer yet!

Speaking of whining.....

Why do children think the more that the whine that they will get things. Granted, I am a sucker for my boys, but everyone knows how much I am strict with them. Brayden is now at that age where he just whines alllll day...every time I turn around he's whining...Waa, I want this, Waa, I want that.. Then he throws altimatiums at me..Well, if you get me this, I'll stop crying. WTF?!?! I dunno, I just hope it stops soon. LOL!

What else?

I am debating on my trip to NY with tthis whole swine thing going on. Ed Hardy' purple purse is awaiting my arrival on the 8th, along with my privte Sirius Satellite Radio tour (xoxo Deb)...and my night out with my powermommas. But I don't really want to contract anything to bring back home to the kids. I know that it could be anywhere, but Biden pretty much advised staying from confined spaces (ie. busses or trains/subways), and since I'd never drive into the city, those are really my options. I dont kow what I am going to do...I am still undecided.

Saturday Jacqui and I are going for our shooting training for camp. I am really excited because secretly I have always been afraid of guns and Bows and arrows, and things like that, and I think that this training will make me feel a bit better about it. Then Jacqui and I will go like once a month to a shooting range and keep up with our new learned ability. How fun! We are also going to start rock climbing and other cool things. It's great for us to be getting so active.

So with all that...I am hoping to eventually get this sill chalkboard done at some point this weekend....I promise, it will be soon!

Phew...Finally, a project and a suprise!

So since I have gotten my new car with the manufacture installed DVD entertainment system, and the nice headphones with the squishy earpieces............they have since broken......the squishy earpieces at least. They look like they have been attacked by a vicious dog! That dog would be Rowan.....the "I have to taste everything" 1 year old! So for about 2 months now, the kids have been crying because one would end up wearing the broken headphone minus 1 squishy ear piece. (It's actually comical watching the kids bolt into the car so they would get the good pair, and the other 2 would have to suffer with the broken ones. I have to say they did get into the car a lot quicker that way! LOL!) Either way....I was sick and tired of them crying and complaining. So I did this!

All I did was bought felt from Wal-Mart for 0.39 each, and glued those bad boys on there. I let them dry overnight, and then I trimmed them to fit! And let me tell you, the boys say they are comfy to wear, and they were cheap and easy to do! Instead of buying the replacements for god knows how much, try this instead!

This is the Face of the Proud toothless Coral, Donovan! He lost that tooth that belongs to the big one first the other day, and then today he lost the big one! Go Buddy! Now he has a big tooth growing in, but it's literally the size of the hole in his face right now....so I am wondering how the 2nd tooth he lost is going to grow in also, because there is no room right now for a second tooth........Do I smell braces in the future?!?!

Oh well! I am doing another project in Brayden and Jordan's room. So I can't wait to share it with you guys! And the boys are excited to have it! It's a CHALKBOARD!!

Life is good!

So I was visited today by my old best friend from Middle School. LOL! How much fun it was to see her! We talked on the phone for 4 hours yesterday! (Guess we had A LOT of catching up to do!) Either way~we went through 1 cell phone batter and 1/2....1 house phone battery and I believe another house phone battery! LOL! Guess we should charge our phones before we talk next time! LOL! It was so cool to know that there is someone here that I already know (and her family) that live so close by! Yeah! Another friend under my belt of Pennsylvania! LOL!

Speaking of regained friendships~I went to Neighbor 1's house the other night, and ended up staying for a good few hours just talking and watching movies. It was a really nice evening and I had a lot of fun. It's nice to have them back in our lives.

I am feeling SOOOO much better today! My god, I have recovered really nicely~and I hope that will be the end of all the flus, and strep and everything until next winter. The beginning of the year was not really so bad for us, but the tail end was a kicker! (guess we made up for lost time!) LOL! I love being able to swallow my food and not cringe! LOL! (and I did end up gaining another pound or 2!) Grrr....

Austin had his well visit yesterday. Is is a hearty 10 lbs 2 oz. however, he just does not seem that heavy to me. I guess it's because I see him everday. LOL! Brayden starts soccer for the YMCA today. I am excited for him. He is going to have a great time. I know he's been wanting to play since last year~so I'm excited that because Bill is not coaching this year....I will finally get to go to some of his games. He loves when I can get to watch him play. I wonder what color he'll be this year. The past 2 he was 2 different shades of green (thankfully his favorite color!)

I am really debating on getting a Wii fit. Since I am unable to get to a gym, I was wondering if people REALLY loose weight on this silly thing? All the gyms here require that you pay for child care and it gets expensive since I now have 5 of them. LOL! And they also require that they be at least 6 months of age....it really makes me miss Toms River Fitness because of the unlimited age group, and unlimited time for leaving them there. (sometimes I like 2 classes, and it takes a bit longer then the hour and 1/2 alotted time for usual daycares.) So I guess I am just going to have to rely on my metabolism. Oh well.

Donovan is learning how to cook. LOL! Not like I am the most awesome chef in the world....but I am teaching him the basics of cooking..like taking the food in and out of the oven, mixing, measuring scoops of things...etc. He is really excited to learn how to cook. He said that he wants to be a great chef....(which will be good for me, because hopefully then I will not have to cook anymore either! HAHAHA!!!!) Every year that he gets older I am going to teach him a new responsibility. And hopefully by the time he is 18 he can go to culinary school and make us some awesome food!

Guess we will see!!

Another one bites the dust.....

As I sit here looking outside my open bedroom window at all the kids and parents playing in the beautiful 70 degree weather, I curse all the damn children in the world who pass on Strep throat to others......

LIKE ME!!! Thanks to the kids who passed it to Donovan, who then passed it to Brayden, who then passed it to me.....

I am NOT enjoying the feeling of swallowing razorblades, pencil in the ear stabbing pain, headaches that make you see double, and swollen lymph nodes that hurt so bad you swore Andrew Zimmern ripped them out of you so he could taste them....On top of that! The sweating! (however I will attribute my newfound 129 lb body to all this loss of fluid.....so whose complaining about that!?!?) So I got my sick butt over to the urgent care walk in clinic and found out that strep is the culprit.....Lucky me.

I have to say that since I have had my tonsils removed, over 10 years ago, that I have not once had strep. So I think I did pretty good.

So Bill has had to take one the household duties....Clean, change diapers, distribute medication, etc...etc... But as if me being sick was not enough for him.....Donovan comes home from the Pack meeting puking his guts up all over the house. EWWW!! So Bill cleaned up the chunks and me, in my unstable dizziness steam cleaned the rug.

I have to say though~I have a lot of thanks.....Thanks to the Hunk, for maintaining the house and kids, and letting me rest and buying all the medication! You do such a great job!

Thanks to my Sissa Jacqui~who is not afraid of the strep quariteined house~to bring me her home made soup (the only thing I've eaten in 2 days), And her *Ancient* Chinese sore throat molassas mix of stuff~yummy! (I think she said ancient...LOL!) XOXOXO!! Jacqui is so good to me! I can't wait until it's my turn to help her out for everything she has done for me and my family~her and her family are certainly an extension of us!

Thanks to my Deb Deb~for the interesting and funny late night texts', and for always checkin' up on me! XOXOXO!!!!!!!! (since Deb had this virus first, and we were texting each other, do you really think it's possible she could have sent me the virus?? LOL!)

So, moving on.....

Remember I was telling you all that we are getting a brand new elementary school?? Well, not only am I a member of the PTA, but I am also an officer! I am the Recording secretary! LOL!! I figured that since the Coral bunch will have about 500 kids coming through the system, I might as well be proactive, and participate. Hell, you can't complain about the system if you don't participate? Right?? And since this is a brandy new school, we are makin' all the rules FIRST! It's gonna be good, and I can't wait!

Oh well. That's it for now.......xoxo!
